Learn from your successes and not your mistakes.

I never understood what people mean when they say they learn by their mistakes.
z
What can you learn from a mistake?
z
Not to do it again? That seems to be a bit too easy.
z
However, what does not work in one situation might be the best strategy in another circumstance. So it would be a mistake never to repeat your ‘mistake’ again.
z
The difficulty with success is recognising it.
z
But it is success that initiates more work and a positive attitude. I cannot see how failure can excite.
z
Failure is just something we all have to deal with and though it can make you wish to do better next time, failure is not a springboard that leads to greatness.
z
You should regard the positive values of the work rather than the negative.
z
Lesson 28: If you are pleased with something you should do more of it or just get rid of the other stuff.
